Horseback riding in Panama is often described as breathtaking and inspiring. Not only is the scenery unbelievably gorgeous, but atop a horse you can get a panoramic view of the land. There are roads and trails going deep into the mountains, or leading straight to the ocean in the other direction. Le Panama est le paradis des pêcheurs. l'endroit idéal pour la plus grande variété de poissons au monde.
L'isthme offre tous styles de pêche, pour tous les âges et tous niveaux d’expérience :
- Pèche au large des côtes et pèche au gros (Marlin, Dorado, Thon jaune, Corvina…)
- Pèche dans les nombreux lacs et rivières, notamment dans le lac Gatun ou vous trouverez le Pavon snook.
- Pèche côtière pour le Mérou, le Vivaneau et bien d’autres encore…
Au Panama, on peut pêcher toute l’année avec de grandes chances de réussite, la pêche côtière se pratique de novembre à août. La pêche hauturière se pratique de décembre à mai.
Poissons : cuberas (carpes rouges), mulet snapper, poissons coqs, sérioles, carangues caninus et à points bleus, mérous (cabrillas) ainsi que les marlins, sailfishs, coryphènes et thons jaunes…

Compte tenu du très grand nombre de rivières et des montagnes présentes dans l’arrière pays, les possibilités de faire du rafting sont importantes.
La pratique du canoë ou du kayak est également possible dans les rapides, dans les nombreuses lagunes ou encore en bordure de mer.
Participer à une descente de raft dans les provinces de Chiriqui, de Colon ou Coclé, c’est, au-delà du sport en lui-même, partir à la rencontre de lieux à la beauté sauvage où la faune et la flore sont totalement préservées…

THE PANAMA CANAL RAILWAY
Full-day tour
You will leave Panama City in the morning to join the Caribeean Coast along the “ Camino Real ”, an old road used by the merchants who carried treasures from the Incas that were exchanged for cheap products from Europ. In addition of the magnificient remnants of a tumultuous past, admire the fort of San Lorenzo and the fort of San Jeronimo, both registered a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city has kept strong religious and cultural traditions, as the veneration of the Black Christ and the Diablos y Congos African Caribeean Festival, celabrated each year to commemorate the colonial past of Portobelo. Free-day and free lunch in Portobelo.
Around 4:00 p.m, reach the city of Colón where you will hop in the mythical train still decorated like in the Gold Rush time. You will go along the Canal, allowing you to see the magnificient nature around and admire the beauty of the construction of the Canal. Arrived at Los Rios train station, a private vehicle will take you back to your hotel in Panama City.
