Panama City – Bocas del Toro

In the afternoon, a private vehicle will take you from your hotel in Panama City to the national airport (Albrook), where a one-hour flight will lead you to the province of Bocas del Toro. Installation at your hotel located along the sea. On la Isla Colón, previously called Isla del Drago, the small capital (also called Bocas del Toro) is the gateway for the 9 main islands of the Archipelago. A big part of the territory of the Isla Bastimentos is occupied by a marine park of the same name. The park is responsible for preserving the beaches ecosystems, and protect the mangroves and coral reefs. With its rich and still uncontaminated marine flora and fauna and the beaches that are now home to 4 kinds of turtles, the park remains unique in the country and can easily compete with other great parks around the globe. Take the  late afternoon to relax on a beach and watch the sunset over a limpid turquoise sea, or walk in colourful streets of Bocas, animated by kids on their bikes, around traditionnal Caribbean houses made of wood and built on pilings.
