Details
Day 1:
Upon arrival to Panama our English speaking representative will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your city hotel for your first night in Panama. Information and presentation of your intinerary.
PANAMA CITY TOUR - Your guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Panama City’s colonial quarter, the Casco Antiguo or Casco Viejo, Identified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1980 . At the Casco Viejo you feel set back in time as you admire the lovely colonial houses, the narrow roads and the impressive churches. Have lunch in one of the typical restaurants of the casco Viejo, mixing tradition and modernity. After the lunch, you will dicover the unvoilable Canal with the visit of the Miraflores Locks. You will enjoy the view on the Locks to see the ships passage from a sheltered terrace and listen to the explications of your English spoken guide. Back to your hotel at the late afternoon.

BOQUETE & COFFEE TOUR - In the morning you will be picked up at your hotel for a short transfer to Panama City's domestic airport. There you will board a propeller plane for a 50 minutes flight to David. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the mountain village of Boquete. Checking into your hotel and lunch. After the lunch, departure for the "coffee tour". Did you know that Panama produces some of the most flavorful coffee in the world? Most coffee plantations in Panama are concentrated around Boquete because of the high altitude required for prime coffee growing, and because of the region's fertile volcanic soil.On this tour you will learn about the cultivation and process of the coffee bean, tours are capped off with a cupping, which, much like a wine-tasting, gives you a chance to sample different flavors, strengths, and roasts.
THE QUETZAL TRAIL (half a day tour). Breakfast in the hotel. Departure to the Quetzal Trail, one of the most beautiful trails of Central America and next to a good hike it's also one of Panama's top bird watching locations.Depending on the time of the year it is more or less likely to see the Resplendent Quetzal, the three wattled Bell bird, Wren Thrush, fiery throated Hummingbird and many more species. This tour will take you hiking on a part of the Quetzal Trail just outside Boquete. return at the hotel around 1.00 p.m. Free afternoon to enjoy the town center. For example you can visit the tropical garden of the Gonzalez family (free entrance). For the more energetic, activities of trekking, rafting, climbing, zip line, can be offered on request (optional).
Day 4:
SANTA CATALINA- COIBA ISLAND - Early morning pick up for private ground transportation from Boquete to Santa Catalina - Province of Veraguas. Arrival around noon to go and stay at your hotel. Free afternoon to enjoy the Pacific's beaches.
Day 5:
COIBA ISLAND . Breakfast in the hotel. In the morning, departure by boat for Isla Coiba, for a navigation about one or two hours (according to tides) where you can observe with a little luck the marine wildlife whales (in July-October), dolphins and flying fish. You will discover the National park of the same name, covering a zone of 270 125 hectares, and protecting sea bed as well as islands and a part of the Pacific Coast. Arrival on the isla Coiba and discovery of the environment, the old penitentiary closed in 2004, the crocodiles, the mangrove, etc…. After the lunch enjoy the beach and the crystalline waters to bathe or to make snorkeling.
Day 6:
SANTA CATALINA- Breakfast at the hotel. Free day to discover Santa Catalina, a sleep fishing community that was discovered by Panamanian surfers in the 1970's to have incredibly consistent and high quality surf.Today, visitors come from around the world to partake of the activities this tropical paradise has to offer. Diving, fishing, kayaking and surfing activities can be proposed on reservation .
Day 7:
EL VALLEE DE ANTON, PROVINCE OF COCLE tradition et folklore. Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, departure in private car to the Province of Cocle( 3h), to reach el Valle de Anton, nestling in a crater of an extinct volcano.Arrival around noon.midi. Check in at the hotel. Free lunch. In the afternoon, visit of the village and its typical Artisan market, visit of the Botanical and zoological garden, El Nispero,an health center for animals in distress. You will observe numerous rare species like "the Golden Frog". .
Day 8:
PROVINCE DE COCLE, typical villages. Breakfast at the hotel. Free morning. You could spend this last morning enjoying the thermal springs (natural hot water around 36° and healing clay). Departure after the lunch to Pnama City. Along the road, you will stop in the typical and small village of La Pintada, to discover the wide variety of panamanian hats from different regions of the country, and the masculine tradional costume, the Montuno. Youcan also visit a cigar factory hand-made with the tobacco from Chiriqui. Back to your hotel in Panama City in the late afternoon.
Day 9:
SAN BLAS ISLANDS - Early in the morning, you will be transferred from the hotel to the Albrook airport in Panama City for your departure flight to San Blas Islands. Upon arrival, you will be taken to join your island by boat and where you will settle down in lodges.The San Blas islands are the most beautiful vacation islands within Panama an probably in Central America. In the morning, enjoy the white sand beach covered by coconut trees.The crystalline water of the Caribbean and the vibrant coral reefs tempts to bathe and to make snorkeling.In the afternoon, visit of the village, soaking up the culture, and interacting with the people that make San Blas (Kuna Yala) so unique. During the day, various excursions are organized on the spot
Day 10 & 11:

RETURN TO PANAMA CITY - After the breakfast,you will be transferred to the airstrip for your return flight to Panama City.Free day in Panama City.
Day 12:
PORTOBELO AND THE CANAL RAILWAY - Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning departure in private car to Portobelo. You will reach the Carribean Coast following the former road, “el Camino Real” ( Royal Road) used by the Spanish to transport the thousands of tons of gold and silver which they plundered from Peru and Mexico to galleons waiting on the Atlantic coast. Arrival at Portobelo, discovered and named by Christopher Columbus in 1502. Today, Portobelo is surrounded by well-preserved forts that are splendid examples of 17th and 18th century military architecture. The ruins were named World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1980. Portobelo’s residents call themselves congos ( veneration of the Black Christ)and descend from African slaves brought during the Spanish colonial era. Guided tour and lunch in a typical restaurant.
In the afternoon, departure to Colon, there you will board on the trans-isthmus train for the historical ride along the Panama Canal. It takes about one hour for the 70 km to Panama City. The scenic ride passes by small towns, lush rainforests and over many small islands of the artificial Gatun Lake, a big part of the Panama Canal. Arrival at "the los rios" station in Panama City. Transfert to your hotel.
Day 13:
DEPARTURE - Depending your departure time, you will be transferred to the Tocumen Airport for your international flight back home.
